Dear Patients,
Your feedback is very important to us, and is helping to improve and shape the care that we deliver at The Loxford Practice.
We know from the experiences that you have shared with us that you are unsatisfied with the current telephone system, and that you can often be on hold for quite some time, as well as sometimes experience disconnection whilst in conversation with one of our team members.
We have been working hard with North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) who provide the current telephone system, and in November 2016 we took the decision to change telephony provider, as we do not consider the NELFT system to be fit-for-purpose having explored all options for its improvement.
From Thursday 8th December 2016, the new number for The Loxford Practice will be 0203 88 77 900. The new number is part of a brand new telephone system for patients, and this is designed to provide you with an improved service, thank you for your patience during the change and sorry for any inconvenience you may experience in adjusting to the new number.
The current number (0300 300 1700) cannot be transferred to us, and will instead play a permanent message stating:
“The number for The Loxford Practice GP surgery has now changed. Please hang up and dial 0203 88 77 900, that’s 0203 88 77 900. If you want to speak to someone about blood tests please hang up and dial 0300 300 1869, once again for blood tests please hang up and dial 0300 300 1869. For x-rays please contact your local hospital. Please press the star key to hear this message again, otherwise this call will now end and you will not be redirected. Thank you.“
If you have any queries or concerns and would like to write to us, please email us on redccg.Y02987discharge@nhs.net, thank you.
